Wales has recorded over 700 new cases of coronavirus today, according to official statistics.
No new deaths have been recorded however over the last 24 hours, leaving the total number of Covid-related fatalities in Wales since the start of the pandemic at 5,641.
761 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded across Wales today.
Ceredigion has recorded five new cases of Covid-19 today, with 18 recorded in Carmarthenshire and nine in Pembrokeshire
Gwynedd has recorded 39 cases with Powys recording 14.
Following a dip during the start of August, the rate of infection is on an upward curve nationwide with the Welsh rate of infection standing at 184.3 cases per 100,000 population.
The rate in Ceredigion over the seven days between 6 and 12 August, the latest figures provided by Public Health Wales, show that the rate is 141.7 cases per 100,000 population, with 103 cases being recorded over that period.
The rate in Gwynedd however stands at 199.9 with 249 cases over the seven days.
Powys has a rate of 182; with Pembrokeshire being 158.2 and Carmarthenshire, 111.2
