Over 750 new coronavirus cases have been reported across Wales today, according to the latest Public Health Wales figures released this lunchtime.
One new Covid-related death has also been recorded, taking the total toll since the start of the pandemic to 5,595.
Of the 755 cases reported in Wales, 12 were in Ceredigion, 22 in Carmarthenshire and 20 in Pembrokeshire.
The national rate of infection in Wales, which is taken from a rolling seven-day period, today covering 12 July to 18 July, stands at 186.1 cases per 100,000 population.
The rate in Powys is higher however, as it currently stands at 222.8.
The rate is lower than the national average in Ceredigion (116.9), Pembrokeshire (112.9), Carmarthenshire (92.2) and Gwynedd (112.4).
As of the week ending 18 July, 513.154 doses of vaccine have been administered by Hywel Dda, 910,379 by Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board in the north, and 194,451 by Powys Teaching Health Board.
