Over 800 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in Wales today, but no new deaths.
803 new cases of the virus have been recorded in Wales today according to the latest figures released by Public Health Wales.
Of those new cases, seven were recorded in Ceredigion – the lowest number of new cases in Wales.
Carmarthenshire recorded 25 new cases with Pembrokeshire recording 23, Gwynedd recording 25 and Powys reporting 43 cases.
No new deaths today leave the total number of coronavirus-related fatalities in Wales at 5,623 since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
Wales will move to alert level zero tomorrow, First Minister Mark Drakeford has announced.
This means that all restrictions on meeting people will be removed and all businesses will be able to open.
But some important protections will continue to be in place, including face coverings being required in most public places, including public transport, shops and healthcare settings.
All premises open to the public and workplaces must carry out a Covid risk assessment and continue to take reasonable measures to minimise the risk of exposure to coronavirus and everyone must continue to isolate for 10 days if they have Covid-19 symptoms or if they have a positive test result.
