Patients have been turning up to an A&E department in Gwynedd with ear ache and back pain.
Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board said its emergency department at Ysbyty Gwynedd is extremely busy, and people have been attending with non-emergencies.
Urging people to think about their visit, a spokesperson said: “Minor injuries or illnesses can be treated by either visiting a GP, pharmacy or at our minor injury units.
“Help us by choosing the appropriate health care service for your needs.
“Do you really need to visit the emergency department?”
The health board shared the message on social media, saying more advice can be found on its website.
