BLAENAU Ffestiniog’s new healthcare centre is on track to open later this year.
Work on the £3.9m facility is progressing well, with the centre expected to open at the end of September, the health board has said.
Work on the external walls is nearing completion and the roof structure is currently being installed.
Betsi Cadwaladr health board is aiming for the roof to be completed during March and April, with the internal fit-out to follow. Internally, the staircases have been installed and the construction of the lift enclosure is ongoing.
Following concerns raised by residents over the number of parking spaces at the centre, these have now been increased to 40.
Ffion Johnstone, area director west at the health board said: “We’re pleased with the progress being made on the new health centre in Blaenau Ffestiniog."
