150 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Wales over the past 24 hours, according to data released by Public Health Wales this afternoon (Tuesday).
Ceredigion has recorded one new case, as has Pembrokeshire.
Powys has four new cases, Carmarthenshire three and two new cases have been reported in Gwynedd.
The new cases take Ceredigion’s total to 84 since the pandemic began.
Powys has recorded 407 cases to date; Gwynedd, 635; Carmarthenshire, 862 and Pembrokeshire, 325.
Across Wales as a whole, 150 new cases have been reported, taking the nation’s total to 18,664 cases since the pandemic began.
No new deaths have been recorded in Wales today, leaving the total at 1,597 since March.
The increase in cases follows a move by the Welsh Government on Monday to to impose local lockdown restrictions in Caerphilly, South Wales.
From 6pm tonight, a range of new measures will come into force for those in the Caerphilly area in a bid to reduce the number of new coronavirus infections.
People will not be allowed to enter or leave the Caerphilly County Borough Council area without a reasonable excuse; Everyone over 11 will be required to wear face coverings in shops and people will only be able to meet outdoors – meetings with other people indoors and extended households will not be allowed for the time being.
No overnight stays will be allowed.
