Madam,

My son was recently rushed into Bronglais Hospital in an ambulance as he could not move and hardly breathe. The ambulance team arrived within a few minutes and were amazing. Once in A and E it became clear that an unusually severe urinary infection was shutting down his kidneys and had affected his heart. Quite simply the team of consultants, doctors and nurses saved his life. When he was taken up to intensive care the combination of dialysis and intravenous drugs went on ensuring that his life did not slip away. The doctors and nurses were all utterly brilliant, as indeed they were in CMU, where he spent the following 10 days. The medical treatment was enhanced by the kindness and understanding of every member of the staff over the entire fortnight. I cannot praise the hospital too highly for the way in which they averted my son’s death and ensured that he left hospital feeling better than he had done in months. Everyone who treated him has my eternal gratitude.

Yours etc
