Madam,
I voted to leave Europe, because of uncontrolled immigration. I have now decided that to remain and reform is in the economic interest of our country, and the interest of our youth. Even more compelling is the conduct of those who would court, even prefer, a no deal.
Keith Barber equates Project Fear with Vote Leave’s data exploitation, but the former was open to scrutiny and accountability, whereas Vote Leave’s targeted texts were neither. Furthermore, Operation Yellowhammer, that Johnson was legally forced to reveal, demonstrated that Project Fear was not far off the mark. All those in the car industry who have lost their jobs will have much to fear.
Alan MacMaster equates electorally unethical data exploitation with EU budgetary irregularities. The EU comprises 27 countries, all angling for their slice of the cake, like Thatcher with her handbag. In a recent audit the margin of material error was 3.8 per cent, and this error was largely in the Economic, Social and Territorial Cohesion sector, where most of the bunfighting would occur.
I will readily live with that degree of probity, than accept the financial and political chicanery of Johnson’s piratical crew.
Yours etc, Roger Louvet, Porthmadog.
