It was interesting to see that you reported a legitimate right to voice an objection to a local event (Motor club apologies over threat to cancer sufferer), but what action has been brought against the unnamed offender?

Why are they not shamed alongside the hero of the day who chose to take up the option offered to him of not having the danger and pollution so close by? Others don’t have the resilience to stand up to threats, and just put up with it. Do they have to?

It’s the organisers who need shaming – they should keep on looking for a suitable route, as there are many alternative dangerous and steep bends to choose from.
