Madam,
How ironic to read the letter from Pat Bates regarding our TV licence (‘Could courts cope if thousands refuse to pay TV licence?’, Cambrian News, 1 August).
I have just written to Boris Johnson asking him to resolve the situation, but as yet have had no reply. I explained that, if we all refused to pay and ended up in prison, we would be provided with a TV in our cell. Who pays for that licence?
If it is not sorted out this could well be the case and thousands of us could be sitting in prison provided with a free TV.
Yours etc, R Vickers, Talybont.
