AN AFTERNOON tea was held on Sunday, 24 April, at Maesbangor Farmhouse, with a contingent of Land Rovers on display, to help raise money for the Aberystwyth Show.

The event, organised by committee members, was a resounding success, with over 100 people enjoying the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and of course, the tasty food on offer.

For some of the committee members, it was a change of pace from the hustle and bustle of organising the show itself, but no less challenging! The committee wished to thank the Cwmwythig family for the use of the impressive farmhouse and to Cambrian Garages for the display and use of the Land Rover Defenders for the organised run.

Delyth Morgan, committee member and organiser of the event, said: “We are grateful for all the volunteers who helped to make the event an unforgettable experience, from would-be chefs to enthusiastic waiting staff, and to those who parted with their well-earned money to be part of this special day”.
