The Sustainable Energy Association (SEA) thanks MP Liz Saville-Roberts for signing the House of Commons Early Day Motion no. 509, calling for the current zero rate of VAT on energy saving materials to be extended beyond March 2027.
Introduced by the Conservative Government in 2022, it is due to end next March.
Liz Saville-Roberts’ support reaffirms her commitment to making energy saving materials more affordable for homeowners and landlords.
Dave Sowden, SEA Chief Executive said: “This simple policy will enable people to cut fuel bills, help with the cost-of-living crisis and also reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. The continuation of this policy is a no brainer.”
The MP signed this “to help constituents keep warm in their homes and reduce their fuel bills”.
