Services for Whitsunday and Trinity:Sunday, 15 May is Whitsunday - Pen-tecost - and services will be at 8.00am Holy Communion using the 1984 red book setting; 10.00am Cymun Bendigaid and 11.15am Choral Eucharist. Sunday, 22 May is Trinity Sunday, marking the half way point in the Christian Year, and services will be as for Whitsunday. However, Trinity Sunday is also the fourth Sunday of the month, and throughout the summer months on the fourth Sunday there will be a 3.00pm Evensong using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. Rev Andrew Loat in the May maga-zine writes about the service saying that Worship from the Book of Com-mon Prayer has a solemnity to it quite unlike modern liturgies; a sense of being unable to escape God’s holy gaze while also being given assurance of his forgiveness All are welcome to our services.
