St Padarn’s

FOR SOME time now the Diocese of St David’s has been moving towards the creation of local ministry areas, where groups of benefices will all work together to further the Church’s mission in their areas. One of these areas will include the three benefices in north Ceredigion. It will be known as the Bro Padarn Ministry Area and will be launched by Bishop Wyn at a bilingual service for all the 10 churches involved at 7pm on Monday, 7 March, in St Padarn’s.Next Sunday, 14 February, is the first Sunday in the Solemn Season of Lent, and services will be held at: 8am, Holy Communion using the 1984 red book setting; 10am, Cymun Bendigaid; and 11.15am, Sung Eucharist led by the choir. Each Wednesday morning throughout Lent, Holy Communion will be celebrated in the Lady Chapel at 10am. Morning Prayer will also be said in the Lady Chapel at 8.45am Monday to Friday throughout Lent and Evening Prayer will also be said on Monday to Wednesday evenings at 6pm. All are warmly welcome to the church’s services.
