Rugby school trip

ON FRIDAY, 12 February, Llanidloes High School pupils went on a joint school trip with WRU Rugby Hub Officer Adam Price to watch the Llanelli Scarlets (see pictures above and right). The trip consisted of 132 pupils from 10 schools, supported by 15 members of staff from the schools. The pupils had the opportunity to take part in activities in the supporters’ zone, perform a lap of the pitch, form a guard of honour, play on the main pitch at half time and, finally, watch the whole game. All pupils and staff thoroughly enjoyed the trip which, hopefully, will now become be an annual event. The Scarlets beat Edinburgh 22-21 in a tense nail-biting finish.
