Ysgol Gynradd Gymunedol Llanon Community Primary School held an afternoon village tea party for their summer term fundraiser, on 11 June, at Llanon Village Hall, organised by the PTA & Friends Committee. Traditional cream teas were served as well as an assortment of cakes and delicious home-made sandwiches kindly donated by parents of the school and local villagers. Generous donations and raffle prizes were given by local businesses/organisations. There were local craft stalls selling artwork, jewellery, quilts, woodwork and more, and a bouncy castle for the children. Musical entertainment was provided throughout by local band Brenig. The total amount raised, after costs, was £1,150.00 which goes direct to school funds. A huge thanks was extended to all who contributed and/or attended.
