AROUND 100 Llyn motorcyclists enjoyed a “spectacular” ride around Gwynedd at the weekend as they raised £600 for Blood Bikes Wales.

Llyn Bikers Motorbike Club held their eighth annual fundraiser on Sunday.

Eifion Roberts, chair of Llyn Bikers, said the club raised £600 on the day, although the final amount won’t be known until July or August due to upcoming auctions.

“It was a spectacular day bike and weather-wise,” said Mr Roberts. “We had 100 motorbikes of all types turn out to support them on the day, all like-minded people with charity and a good day’s riding on their minds.

“It was a really great sight to see on Y Maes in Pwllheli in the morning. The ride took the bikers around some of Gwynedd’s most stunning scenery."

The auction is being held on the club’s Facebook page until 9pm on Sunday.
