A man has died following an early morning collision on an unclassified road on the Llyn Peninsula.
North Wales Police have launched an investigation following the one-car collision at 1.52am on Sunday morning (2 February) on an unclassified road between Llithfaen and Pentreuchaf.
The man who died at the scene has been described by officers as being local and in his 20s.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "The incident, involving a black Skoda Octavia, was reported at 1.52am and was attended by police, fire and ambulance services."
Sergeant Raymond Williams who is leading the investigation added: “I and my team offer our heartfelt condolences to the young man’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
“The road was closed for almost six hours while the initial scene investigation took place. I am keen to hear from anyone who may have been travelling on the road between 1am and 2am.”
