A LOCAL MP has called for people to join a doorstep vigil tonight (Saturday) in memory of Sarah Everard.
Dwyfor Meirionnydd MP Liz Saville Roberts announced on Twitter tonight her intention to show a light on her doorstep tonight in memory of tragic Sarah, and urged others to join in.
Sarah, 33, went missing on 3 March and her body was found on Wednesday in woodland in Kent.
Police officer Wayne Couzens, 48, has been charged with kidnap and murder.
People across the country, including Prime Minister Boris Johnson, will be lighting a candle for the 33-year-old at 9.30pm this evening (Saturday), in a show of support led by Reclaim These Streets.
Mrs Saville Roberts wrote: "Er cof am Sarah Everard - Adhawliwn y Nos heno am 21:30. Safwch wrth eich drws gyda golau.
"In memory of Sarah Everard I will stand at my doorstep tonight and show a light to #ReclaimTheNight. If you’ve ever felt unsafe at night, please join me. #ReclaimTheseStreets"
