Although people have called to change the name of Snowdonia, this name is known all over the world - and they all know it’s in Wales, indeed it’s been called this for centuries.

And Snowdon Mountain too is remembered by this name. It would take possibly centuries for people to link this name change to Snowdonia.

Snowdon has a ring to it. A glorious mountain in the heart of Wales, somehow Eryri does not do this. The importance of the Welsh language is not superceded by this. And will never be.
