So that’s what the closed road rally was about: 120 wannabe ‘boy’ and ‘girl’ racers in cars buzzing along narrow roads on a warm and sunny Sunday in Ceredigion.

This wasn’t the right image for Aberystwyth to promote in times of environmental pollution and fearful climate change.

Never again, please.
