New Quay and District Society

THE NEXT meeting of the society will be on Monday, 21 March at 2pm in the Bowls Clubhouse.The Older People’s Commissioner for Wales, Sarah Rochira, will speak. Her talk will be followed by refreshments and a business meeting.Last month, the group enjoyed a spirited and interesting talk with illustrations on the work of the Wales Air Ambulance. Aneurin Roberts answered probing questions on financing the charity, raising money, the valuable work carried out by the volunteers and the cooperation existing between all the rescue services.
