Madam,

As your readers who drive are no doubt aware and religiously observe, there is a new 30mph speed limit through the village of Llandecwyn between Porthmadog and Harlech, for which the residents are truly grateful.

But I suppose it would be too much to expect that some attempt be made to enforce it, as there never was with the previous 40mph limit.

I’m sure this would be a very lucrative opportunity for the camera van.

What a pity the opportunity was missed to extend the limit a couple of hundred yards to protect the entrance to the Barcdy camp site and possibly make a night-time walk from, say, Llandecwyn Station a little less unsafe than currently.
