Madam,

This is not my usual topic to write to you about, but there’s been a nice salmon caught on the Rheidol by Shaun Dryburgh, a young angler. The salmon weighed in at 9lbs and he has certainly followed in his father Alister’s footsteps. As an angler myself I would encourage other young men to take up the sport. It’s such an exciting sport because you go fishing and you never know what you might catch. Youngsters can fish for free, including your fishing licence (subject to conditions). Congratulations Shaun.
