Madam,
Over the last few weeks the four candidates for the forthcoming election have in person delivered their flyers through my letter box.
One and only one of those candidates have knocked on my door to ask what I want for our town. Only one person could be bothered to ask. Not only did that person ask, they listened and, even more surprisingly, wrote down my thoughts and ideas.
How on earth do the three other candidates know what I want? They had time to deliver their flyers but no time to gauge my thoughts or those of the rest of the town.
I know who each of the prospective candidates are and see them often. They, however, do not know who I am or what I want to see happen in Tywyn.
Their flyers are all very well but I always try before I buy and, I’m sorry, if you can’t be bothered to knock on my door then you have lost my vote.
Yours etc,
Anne-Marie Catling-Hughes, Station Road, Tywyn.
