Madam,
I’ve heard of many things that are supposedly caused by global warming, including acne, aggressive weeds, desert advance and desert retreat, teenage drinking and Mount Everest shrinking. And now, your story, Shock as two sharks wash up on beach, suggests that the annual migration of Tope to our seas is also a result of global warming.
It may be a little unusual for two Tope to be washed up on the beach, but it most certainly is not unusual for Tope to be inhabiting Cardigan Bay at this time of year.
Their presence is just a natural annual migration and has nothing to do with global warming.
Yours etc,
Tom Hughes, Pwllheli.
