The organisers of a Llanifhangel-y-Creuddyn car rally have thanked everyone who took part and helped raise more than £600 for Bronglais Hospital’s chemotherapy unit.

The organisers said: “Thank you to everyone who brought along their very special cars and took part in the run; Dr Elin and those who turned out to support the run as they set off, gave a wave along the route or joined us at the end; Llanfihangel School PTA for the tea and cake stall; the marshals for keeping everyone on track and ensuring safe and considerate parking; those who donated raffle prizes; Neuadd Lisburn Hall Committee; the Crafty Mare for providing the bar; and to Y Ffarmers chef Ben for cooking the barbecue.”
