A VISITOR from deepest, darkest Peru has been doing the rounds in Tywyn.
Paddington bear, pictured here with Tywyn Town Council, has been spotted all over town in the build up to a new year’s pyjama party in the Magic Lantern this New Year’s Eve.
He has already visited a variety of businesses in the area, as well as the shelter on the seafront, as he familiarises himself with the area before his grand debut.
On 31 December, children – whether big or small – can visit the independent cinema to see in the new year in style.
A spokesperson for the Magic Lantern explained: “We know kids want to stay up till Midnight on New Year’s Eve and see in the New Year with all the grown ups.
“But midnight is very late for little ones (and little bears) and so this year the Magic Lantern brings the Magic of New Year in a little bit early.
“Join us from 5pm on New Year’s Eve and enjoys some arts and crafts while waiting for the film to begin.
“We will also be holding Paddington’s Parade of extra special bears so please make sure everyone brings along their most special bear or cuddly friend."
