A paedophile living near a park in Pwllheli has moved out following a protest from concerned local parents.
A number of residents on Abererch Road took action last week after learning one of their neighbours has been convicted of accessing child abuse images online.
Anthony Walker lived near a park and locals were so concerned they created placards and picketed outside his home for several days.
Late last week he left the home, but it is unclear where Mr Walker has moved to.
One of the protesters, Kim Williams, said: “We are pleased he has gone. That was the whole point.
“The protest has worked and he is no longer in Pwllheli.”
Walker, 49, was told by a judge in Caernarfon Crown Court earlier this month when receiving a two-year community order that this was his “last chance”.
The court heard he had used his wife’s computer account to try to hide his activities from police supervising him as a result of a previous conviction for downloading images of children, some as young as three months old, for which he was jailed for eight months.
