A RETIRED Cardigan paramedic will be celebrating his 65th birthday in style this year, by making a skydive over Swansea airport.

Pete Barker, chairman of the Cardigan British Heart Foundation branch, is aiming to raise £5,000 to help find a cure for coronary heart disease.

He hopes to make the leap around 20 February – depending on weather conditions.
