An Abersoch beach hut is to go under the hammer later this month with a guide price of £125,000.

The beach huts along Abersoch’s Porth Mawr beach always attract a great deal of attention, regularly fetching six figures when sold, with the most expensive being sold for £160,000 in 2017.

The hut up for auction is the fourth along to the left of the main launching slipway on the beach, near Footprints Café.

Measuring 11ft x 10ft externally with steps up to double wooden doors, planning regulations prohibit the connection of any main services including water, drainage or electricity and owners are not allowed to sleep overnight in the hut.

The hut will go up for auction at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool on 11 July at 12pm, where a price of £125,000 has been placed.

This price is an indication of the seller’s current minimum acceptable price ‘to assist consumers in deciding whether or not to pursue a purchase,’ according to auctioneers, Sutton Kersh, and not a guide price.
