A full planning application for 20 homes has been lodged with Powys County Council’s planning department, but town councillors have said they are disappointed that representations they made about changing the scheme during the pre-application consultation have been dismissed by applicants H&N Developments.
Cllr Ann MacGarry said town councillors had been supportive of a housing development being located at the derelict site but wanted developers to make the best use of energy-efficient materials and ensure the development is as environmentally friendly as possible.
