LETTERS have been sent to voters in the Central Ward of Aberystwyth after they were initially given the wrong address polling station address.

As Wales heads to the polls tomorrow for the Senedd and Police and Crime Commissioner elections, residents in the Central Ward had initially been told to visit Harbour House, Y Lanfa to cast their votes, which is incorrect.

Voters should instead head to The Salvation Army on Alexandra Road with residents in the Rheidol Ward using Harbour House.

In a statement, Ceredigion County Council said: “Voters in the Central Ward, Aberystwyth will have received a letter recently asking them to vote at Harbour House, y Lanfa which is unfortunately incorrect.

“A new letter will be sent out today(Tuesday) with the correct polling station, which is at The Salvation Army on Alexandra Road.

“Voters in the Rheidol Ward are to vote at Harbour House, y Lanfa.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”

Other changes to voting tomorrow include new locations for various parts of Ceredigion.

Voters who previously attended Cwmystwyth Chapel Vestry will now have to visit Mynach Primary School to cast their vote.

Voters who have previously visited Tyndwndwn Chapel in Talsarn will now have to attend Felinfach Memorial Hall.

Those who used The Old School in Cross Inn to vote will now have to visit Pennant Community Centre to cast their vote while Comins Coch Primary School will be used a polling station instead of the former Little Acorns site.

Bryngwyn Chapel Vestry will be used as a polling station instead of Ysgol Trewen.

Bronant Chapel Vestry will be used as a polling station in place of Caffi Sali Mali in Blaenpennal with Talgarreg Memorial Hall being used in place of Pisgah Chapel Vestry.

Dyffryn y Parc Centre in Aberporth will be the area’s polling station instead of the village hall with Newcastle Emlyn Rugby Club being used instead of the former polling station site at H.U.T.S in Adpar.
