Plaid Cymru has held its seats in Ceredigion and Dwyfor Meirionnydd.

Both Ben Lake and Liz Saville Roberts have been re-elected with an increase in votes compared to 2017's General Election.

"The dominant issue has been Brexit. It’s very disappointing that pressing issues like climate change and ending austerity will still be here for many people.”On a more local level, he adds: “The big issue for me in the election has been the threat to Fairbourne. That still remains the biggest local issue in this constituency. I stand because I exercise my right to stand."00.55am Turnout in Ceredigion was 71.34% - that's down from 75.2% in 2017.00.53am Green Party candidate for Ceredigion, Chris Simpson says: "For the first time we decided not to have a free post leaflet because other parties have so many. If we have one, it would get lost. We put adverts in newspapers so we'll see how the vote holds up."Some wards we've done okay in, some places we've had hardly any votes.
