Montgomeryshire MP Glyn Davies has said he will be voting for Prime Minister Theresa May in today’s confidence vote.
Mrs May is facing a vote of confidence in her leadership after 48 letters from MPs were handed to the party’s 1922 Committee.
The prime minister said they would contest the vote with everything she has got.
She said that if she loses, Brexit could have to be delayed or even stopped.
Conservative MPs will be voting between 6pm and 8pm with the result coming an hour or so later.
A spokesperson for Mr Davies said: "He’ll be voting for Theresa May, and is completely supportive of her leadership and the deal."
Mr Davies had earlier explained why he was continuing to give his total support to Theresa May as prime minister.
Mr Davies said: “I accept that there is divided opinion in both the Government, main opposition and Liberal Democrat parties on the future shape of the UK’s relationship with the EU.
"I’ve never known such an uncertain time in public affairs in my lifetime. Whether we voted Leave or Remain, it’s crucial that we stay calm and consider next steps with extreme care.
“To be suggesting that the Conservative Party should seek to change our prime minister at this time is unwise, verging on the irresponsible.
"I accept that the opposition will challenge the government, but in recent weeks, there has been constant sniping against our prime minister by a handful of Conservative MPs, seriously undermining her efforts to secure a leaving deal that works for both the UK and the EU.
"They have been self-indulgent, self-defeating and not acting in the interests of our country. Thankfully, they have been shown to be a ‘busted flush’ with nothing like the influence they thought they had.”
