THE Prime Minister caused a stir when she spent a weekend in Dolgellau, joining church-goers for a Palm Sunday service and visiting shops on Eldon Square.

Theresa May, accompanied by her husband Phillip, was in the area to enjoy the stunning walks and scenery that Meirionnydd has to offer. Mrs May also took the time to attend a Palm Sunday church service in St Mary’s on Sunday and spent the Saturday perusing the town’s shops.
