Litter Picking

YSTRAD Fflur Community Council wish to thank everyone who helped with the recent litter-picking around the village, and also to the Black Lion for the tasty cawl provided. The village itself and the surrounding area looked much tidier afterwards. Many thanks to all involved.

Carnival

THE annual Carnival will be held on Saturday, 18 June. The procession will leave the Village Green at 3pm to the pavilion for the crowning of the Carnival Queen ceremony and the judg-ing. The Carnival President this year will be Mererid Jenkins, Cardiff (Lluest, Ffair Rhos). The queen will be Cari Gwanwyn Davies, Dolyrychain and her attendants will be Lily Fox, Ava-Marie Huddleston, Elliot Baston and Matthew Huddleston. There will be refreshments available and following the carnival, there will be sports and a disco, with bar facilities.

Prynhawn Cymdeithasol

CYNHELIR y Prynhawn Cymdeithasol blynyddol yn Neuadd Pantyfedwen ddydd Sadwrn, 9 Gorffennaf, o 4yp hyd 8yh. Bydd yna gystadleuaeth trefniant canolbwrdd o ‘bump y dydd’ i oedolion, ac i blant ‘yr anifail gorau allan o lysiau a ffrwythau’. Gofynnir i bawb ddod â bwyd a diodydd eu hunain. Croeso cynnes i bawb.
