A sponsored Scotch Pool doubles event at Pencnwc Holiday Park clubhouse, Cross Inn, near New Quay, has raised £4,201 for the Leri Day Unit at Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth.

The main sponsors were Ian Davies of Pencnwc with club manager Paidy Deeming, and Stephen Burgess of the Penrhiwllan Inn, New Quay, who also lent a second pool table for the day.

The organisers, Eirian Morgan, Sara Evans, Dylan Davies and Gerran Griffiths, were delighted with the support they received and for the donations, raffle prizes and items for auction.

They also thanked the winners, runners-up and losing semi-finalists who gave their prize money to the cause.
