The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

THE annual meeting next Sunday, 13 March, is special. The church worldwide has no paid ministry, so all leaders need to be voted into office and during this meeting, the Porthmadog congregation will vote for leaders for the whole church worldwide, for the north Wales region, and especially within the branch; all done under the authority of the president for the whole of North Wales, Jared Ireland, from Wrexham. The meeting will be addressed by president Ireland, by local branch president Christopher Jones of Criccieth, and by other leaders. The main meeting (with bilingual communion) will be held in Y Ganolfan, starting at 10am and will be followed, as usual, by Sunday School at 11.20am, with classes for all age groups.Everybody welcome.
