Llanidloes Primary School pupils hit the right note at their hugely successful eisteddfod last Friday.

There was music, singing, recitation and a choir competition. The teachers even got in on the act by entering a choir into the choral contest.

Many of the schoolchildren will be taking part in the forthcoming Urdd Eisteddfod in a variety of competitions.
