A community lottery has handed a cheque for £500 to Dolgellau and Barmouth Hospital’s League of Friends.

Rob Evans, who helped set up Loteri Dolgellau, which helps raise funds for the local area, said: “This would not be possible without our voluntary ticket sellers and regular supporters.

“If you have bought a Loteri Dolgellau ticket or sold in numbers, you should be very proud when seeing and hearing of these donations, where we feel very priviliged in being able to do so on your behalf, and we can only thank and congratulate everyone on these successes.”

The Dolgellau and Barmouth Hospital League of friends are raising funds for an ECG machine which is a diagnostic tool that is routinely used to assess the electrical and muscular functions of the heart.
