A CHARITY rugby match in memory of a former player has raised £800.

The charity match held at Pwllheli Rugby Club at the end of December was organised to remember Robin Llyr Evans.

Cronfa Robin received a cheque for £800, receiving the money from Eryl Jones (one of the organisers of the event) is Mark Roberts from Pwllheli Rugby Club.

The intended plans for the money is to build "Cwt Robin", this would be a stand built especially for the elderly or disabled who can’t enjoy the rugby games at the moment due to seating problems.

The rugby club would gratefully accept any donations for ’Cwt Robin’, and could contact Mark Roberts or Wil Martin from the club.
