I’m disappointed and frustrated, by the indifference and ignorance of the general public. To control the Covid pandemic, we were asked to do two things: wash our hands and keep two metres apart. Not only is social distancing ignored, people actively avoid washing their hands.

We operate two shops in Harlech and take our Covid precautions very seriously. On entry to either of our shops, customers are prompted to use the sanitiser. We have, on numerous occasions watched people pretending to sanitise their hands! They touch the top of the bottle and rub their hands together mimicking hand sanitisation.

I urge everyone to sanitise properly and keep your distance. It’s not rocket science! After all the hard work of keeping safe through the summer it’s this indifference that’s brought us back to lockdowns across the country!
