Madam,

Thankfully, in the interests of hygiene and public health, most dog walkers in most parts of the beautiful seaside at Pwllheli make it their business to be armed with plastic bags. Sadly there are abundant piles of firm evidence which show that our North Quay walk, between the town (alongside the inner harbour) and the yachting marina at Plas Heli, has become the habitat of dog walkers of a different breed, those who allow herds of overfed larger hounds, shihtzus and other canines to plague the footway with tons of trouble.

What a mess in such an iconic area. Unfortunately, these ‘unconscionables’ lack respect for all pedestrians, especially mams with prams, toddlers with toys and small kids balancing on the newest bikes. The dirty habits of these dodgy dog walkers need to be exposed in courts where they can be named and (possibly) shamed.
