RACHEL Poole from Tywyn has raised over £2,000 for Hospice UK by running in the London Marathon.
“I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who sponsored me and so enabled me to raise so much for Hospice UK. It is a charity that means a lot to me personally.
“Everyone who knows me knows that I am a very active person and always try to stay as fit as possible, but I haven’t done a great deal of running so taking on the London Marathon was a massive challenge for me.
“I was really pleased with my time of four hours and 55 minutes and I can honestly say I enjoyed every minute! So much so that I have entered the ballot again for next year’s London Marathon.”
