Machynlleth railway staff have donated £100 of toiletries and feminine hygiene products to the local food bank.
Bro Ddyfi Food Bank gives out emergency food parcels to those in real need within the Dyfi Valley.
Volunteer Clive Thomas said he was “extremely pleased” with the donation of toiletries.
“It’s natural that the first items anyone thinks to give is food,” he said.

At Machynlleth railway station, five volunteers run a tuck shop in their mess room, selling various items for staff to purchase.
The small profits made are going to support the local community.
