Madam,

Though I’m not a supporter of Jeremy Corbyn, I found he could be right about a rigged system, as lots of people possibly don’t recognise it, or are unaware and oblivious that they are taking part in it. This is probably because it is in a veiled form.

For example there are many who are overpaid for what they do, and then there are those who work hard with long hours but are left with not enough to live on. Foodbanks are disgracefully increasing, yet we seem to have enough to pay for the years required in leaving the EU, plus a snap election.

Much better if the leavers had spent their time and energy in having a referendum for a proper, fair society. This would take the form of controlling house prices, rents and abolishing leasehold. All jobs, professions, callings, etc, would be analysed in every aspect for their worth, so that a true picture for remuneration could be established. A fairness of a high standard would emerge.

If I had written this some time ago, critics would say it would take too long and be too complicated. However, the Brexiteers have neutralised this argument. Those who once claimed that immigrants were taking the jobs for reduced wages would no longer need this reason or excuse.

Of course there will be still be opposition from the greedy and those who would lose their forbidden fruits.

Yours etc,

Chris Smith, Bryn Deiliog, Llanbedr.
