Madam,

Our county councillors are paid to do a job, and paid very well by local standards, that job being to manage the services of Gwynedd Council. Perhaps, therefore, when they choose to spend time indulging in debates or publicity of political issues, such as Welsh or even Catalonian independence, which have nothing to do with the effective running of the council, they will return their salary for that day. This money could then be better spent providing the services which they constantly tell us they cannot afford.
