Re: A ring road around Llanbedr. We are at the present moment talking about the health and safety of villagers and visitors. It will give easy access to the airfield, allowing heavy vehicles to bypass the village, thus relieving congestion at all times of the year. Built high enough it would give extra protection against tidal surges.

Remember in the future the traffic could be a lot heavier and previous simple imaginative solutions would melt into oblivion. In the summer emergency vehicles often pass through,with blues and twos, some for Shell Island.

Temporary measures such as more double white lines, rumble bars and a 20mph speed limit have not been taken up.
