A heavily-used B road will be closed for almost four months to allow the construction of a new sewer and manhole.

Pennar Road at Parcllyn, Aberporth, is widely used by employees travelling to and from the nearby Qinetiq base.

But Ceredigion County Council works are projected to last until 4 May, the Cambrian News has learnt.

A Ceredigion County Council spokesman said: “We can confirm that Pennar Road, Parcllyn, is scheduled to be closed from 14 January for the next four months in order to allow the building of a new sewer.”
